Myrtle H. Davis

Myrtle H. Davis, 90 of Heritage Place, Owensboro, died Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at Owensboro Daviess County Hospital. Mrs. Davis was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on March 9, 1913 she was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church and was retired from Murphy Miller. She loved her church, family and remodeling the houses she lived in. Her husband, J. B. Davis, preceded her in death in 1988 and two sons, Joseph Thomas Davis in 1991 and James Richard Davis, Sr. in 2003.

Survivors include one son and his wife, Robert E. & Marian Davis of Philpot; one daughter-in-law Anna Marie Davis of Owensboro; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Richardson of Owensboro and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2003 at Immaculate Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2003 and after 8:30 a.m. on Friday at Glenn Funeral Home where prayers will be said at 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
