Murl Wayne Mills, 73, of Utica, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born February 13, 1947, in Tell City, Indiana, to the late Curtis and Lillian Jones Mills. Wayne worked as a coal miner operating heavy machinery and served in the United States Army as an MP. He also enjoyed playing cards with his good friends and loved to spend time with his grandson.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Connie Vaughn Mills; a daughter, Angela (Allen Spears) Horn; his favorite grandson, Matthew Horn; and cousins, Rick Mills and Roger Mills.
The family will be having a private memorial service with their immediate family only at a date of their choosing.
