Mittie Sandra "Sandy" Brown

Mittie Sandra "Sandy" Brown, 64, of Owensboro, passed away April 19, 2018, at Signature Healthcare. She was born May 12,1953, in Owensboro, to the late McAdoo and Margaret Hazelwood Ray. Sandy worked at and retired from Ragu. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, going out to eat with her family and friends, had a special place in her heart for her cats, and more than anything else she loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids.

Sandy was also preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Mae Clark; a brother, Stephen Ray; and a son, John Priest Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Goins; sisters, Darlene Johnson (Dennis) and Judy Hillard; brothers, Mike Ray (Donna) and Oba Hayward Ray; sister in law, Karen Ray; grandchildren, Kristen, Morgan, Brandon, Jacob, and Johnathan Brown; and seven great grandchildren.

Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements for Sandy.
