Misty Dawn English

Misty Dawn English, 22 of Friendly Village, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in the University of Louisville Hospital. She was a 2007 graduate of Apollo High School. Misty loved spending time with her family and friends, listened to music, especially her favorite singers, Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montanna) and Taylor Swift. She loved all animals, playing on Facebook, and watched the Food Network and home improvement shows with her dad. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harold C. English in 1981.
Surviving are her parents, Richard and Kay (Strobel) English of Friendly Village, her brothers, Jeremy English and partner Russ Iddings of Independence, Kentucky, and Jason English of Friendly Village, grandparents, Sybal and Sonny Saalwaechter of Panther, and Louis and Juanita Strobel of Owensboro, a special cousin, Tiffani English of Owensboro, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Barry Rager officiating. Burial will follow in Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and after 12 p.m. Friday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
