Mintie Berry Atkinson

Mintie Berry Atkinson, 89, (formerly of Owensboro) passed away Monday, March 19, 2007 at the Shawnee Springs Nursing Home in Cincinnati. Born in Stanley on February 14, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Gilmore and Georgia Brown Berry; was retired from US Bank ; and was a former member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Atkinson was preceded in death by her husband, Essie Lee Atkinson in 1980.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, David and Catherine Atkinson of Cincinnati; and grandchildren, Jonathan Atkinson, Robert Atkinson, and Nathan Atkinson all of Cincinnati.
Services are 10 A.M. Friday, March 23, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Thursday and after 9 A.M. on Friday.
