Milton H. Buskill

Milton H. Buskill, age 77, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System.

He was born May 4, 1935 in Muhlenberg County to the late Mack Henry Buskill and Dovie Jewell Buskill.

He was a co-founder and President of BFL Trucking Inc. After 20 years he retired in 2005.

He served his country during the Korean War as a private in the US Army. He was appointed to the Presidential Inaugural Commission in 2001. He was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. He was ordained a Deacon of Friendship Baptist and Apollo Heights Baptist. He served as a minister of music, taught Sunday school, played and coached Church league softball. He enjoyed singing in the choir, hunting, fishing, NASCAR, boxing, and western movies. His real enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends.

Aside from his loving parents he is preceded in death by two sisters; Elizabeth Dee Maxwell and Wilda Deanie Faulkner, two brothers; Louis Ray Buskill and Charles Robert Buskill, one grandson: Travis Wayne Rogers.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evialyn Greathouse Buskill, one brother; Michael ( Phyllis) Buskill. His children; Marlene ( Irvin) Rogers, Dale ( Karena) Buskill, Sherrie ( David) Horn, Luke Buskill, Lydia Buskill, Ernesto Aguilar.
Grandchildren; Chip ( Valarie) Rogers, Brad ( Angela) Rogers, Eric ( Hannah) Rogers, Derek ( Elizabeth) Smith, Deandra Buskill, Rachelle ( Josh) Campbell, Mathis Buskill, Larissa Buskill, Brendan Grant, Jason ( Laura) Buskill, Tyler Horn, Bailey Horn.
Great Grandchildren; Isabella Rogers, Cameron Hamilton, Kaydence Hamilton, Korben Smith, Kaine Smith, Anabelle Smith, Maya Campbell, Eastyn Campbell.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Pastor Timothy Burton will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00- 8:00PM on Thursday and after 12:00PM on Friday. Online Condolences may be left at www.glennfuneralhome.com
