Mildred Y. Hatfield

Mildred Mommy Hatfield, 76, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the Owensboro medical Health System. Born in Hawesville on May 21, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Claude Young and Clara Nix Young. Mrs, Hatfield was a homemaker; member of the Stanley Baptist Church; and enjoyed her Sunday School Class and caring for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Hatfield in 1980, two sons, Freddy Dean Hatfield and Brett Samuel Hatfield, a daughter, Lisa Robertson, and two grandchildren, Michael Hatfield and April Young.

She is survived by five sons, Keith ( and Don) Hatfield, Mark ( and Pudgy) Hatfield, and Randall Hatfield all of Owensboro, Barry (and Jean) Hatfield of Stanley, and Jeff (and Tammy) Hatfield of Hawesville; two daughters, Rita (and Donald) Richards of Reynolds Station and Dorothy Young of Owensboro; a son-in-law, Terry Robertson of Stanley; 28 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Henry Young of Tell City, Victor Doc Young of Tobinsport, Shelby Young of Cannelton, and Dick Young of Cloverport; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2:30 P.M. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Sunday and after 10 A.M. on Monday.
