Mildred L. Flener

Mildred L. Flener, 75, of Central City went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 6, 2015, at 4:53 a.m. at Owensboro Regional Health Center. She was born July 19, 1939, in Muhlenberg County. She was a born again child of God and was devoted to serving the Lord. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Flener, of 53 years; her parents, Mark and Maude Carneal, one brother Lonnie Carneal and a granddaughter, Ashley Hamilton.

Survivors include her son, Tim (Sarah) Flener and Tony (Angie) Flener, all of Greenville; two daughters, Susan (Randy)Hamilton of Philpot and Vicki Spence of Central City; grandchildren, Jenny (John) Ladd, Mikey (Darnell) Flener, Drew Capps, Charity Milam, Kailee Colburn, Logan and Katie Sue McDonald, Tiffany, Tabatha, Scottie, Brandon, Bobby, Samantha Flener, Michael Rust, Amber (Kyle) Moschner, Kristen (Shane) McIntire, Kourtney (Colton) Daniels, Logan Hamilton, Joshua Spence and Whitney (Patience) Spence, Mikey (Heather) Carneal, 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Carneal and one sister, Joyce (Jerry) Church.

Graveside services are at 11 am Saturday February 7, 2015 at New Hope Cemetery in Moorman. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory in Owensboro is in charge of arrangements.
