Mildred C. English, 94, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Christian Care in Bowling Green, KY. She was born December 27, 1921 in Muhlenberg County to the late Noel and Evelyn Conway.
Mildred was a member of Wing Ave. Baptist Church and had worked at Daviess County Hospital.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband of 46 years, the late Billy F. English and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Faye Nelson.
Surviving are her stepsons, Billy Wayne English and wife Trish of Morehead and Terry Lee Baideme and wife Christina of Wauchula, FL; a stepdaughter, Marla Ann Kelly and husband Harry of Hattiesburg, Miss.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 12 PM Saturday, June 18, with visitation after 11 AM, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
