Mildred Dillehay Dant

Mildred Dillehay Dant, 80, of Owensboro, Kentucky, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on July 2, 1929 in Sangamon County, IL to the late James Leonard and Addie Whitaker Smith. Mrs. Dant had worked at General Electric for 37 years. She was a member of Breckenridge United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Elizabeth Munday Center where she enjoyed attending dances with her many friends.

She is survived by her husband of 6 years, Albert Dant; a sister, Miladene Ellis of Miamisburg, OH; seven nephews; two nieces; step-daughters, Pam Jones and her husband Terry, Kim Koykar and her husband Jeff, Sandy Harris and her husband Ron and Trenda Richey; eleven step-grandchildren and 9 step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday and after noon on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
