Mildred Sharp Catron

Mildred Sharp Catron passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Heartford House. She was born in Daviess Co., KY to the late Clarence and Adah Boling Sharp. She was a homemaker, a devoted mother, a member of Third Baptist Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #130 in Whitesville. Mildred also dearly loved her dog Shado. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Catron on February 9, 1994, two sisters, Gladys Tipton and Ora Sharp, and two brothers, J. B. Sharp and Harry Sharp.

Surviving are her son, Larry Catron of Owensboro, her brothers-in-law, Don (Jane) Catron of Owensboro and Tom Catron of Owensboro, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be 2:30 P.M. Friday in Christ Chapel at Owensboro Memorial Gardens with Dr. James Byrd officiating. Entombment will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 P. M. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
