Mildred Myrtle Butler

Mildred Butler, 80, of 1651 W. 4th. Street, Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2004 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Dyersburg, Tn, to the late Sherman and Beulah Harrison Butler. She was a member of the Christian Outreach Church, was a homemaker, and enjoyed working crossword puzzles and listening to gospel music.

Survivors include seven daughters, Betty J. Green of Owensboro, Sarah Nelson of Halls, Tn., Irene Cox of Dyersburg, Tn., and Ruthie Christian, Mary Ann Tyler, Christine Tyler, and Carol Tyler, all of Houston, Tx., a brother, William Horn of Tampa, Fl., a sister, Louise Wilson of Orlando, Fl. and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Services will be at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00-6:00 P.M. and after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be placed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
