Mikel W. Sharp

Mr. Mikel W. Sharp age 62 passed away on November 9, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital; born on December 3, 1952 to the late Edgar "Lightening" and Oleda Jean (Trogdon) Sharp.
Mikel was veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Marine Corp. he was a truck driver for Towne Air Freight in Evansville.

Mikel is preceded in death by his parents, sister: Connie Sharp, brother: Jack Sharp, great grandchild: Bentley Sharp Quisenberry.

Mikel is survived by his wife of 43 years: Connie (Cain) Sharp, daughter: Barbie Payne of Owensboro, son: Michael Sharp of Owensboro, grandchildren: Tori Sharp, Hunter Sharp, Brock Payne all of Owensboro, brother: Ronnie (Martha) Sharp of Livermore, and his little companion "Dixie".

Funeral services will be Thursday at 12pm at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Military Honors, visitation will be Wednesday from 4pm - 8pm at the funeral home.
