Mickey Ray Conkright

Mickey Ray Conkright, 60, of 4141 Yewells Landing West, Owensboro, died on September 7, 2003 at his home. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. and was a retired self-employed painter. He was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church and was a United States Marine Corps veteran and a Ky. Colonel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret A. Farmer Conkright on March 15, 2001.
Surviving are 3 sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin & Tracy Conkright, Keith Conkright, and Kaelin Conkright, all of Owensboro, 2 Grandchildren, Kelsey M. and Benjamin W. Conkright of Owensboro, and 2 brothers, Don Conkright of Owensboro, and Benny Conkright of Atlanta, Ga.
Services will be at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, September 11, 2003, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Glenville Baptist Church Cemetery in Daviess Co., Ky. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 10, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
