Michele Colleen Nicholson

Michele Colleen (McCarthy) Nicholson, 59, of Owensboro, entered eternal life Thursday, June 1, 2023, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was born March 18, 1964, in Lafayette, IN to the late William and Lucille (Kraimer) McCarthy. Michele was of the catholic faith. She graduated from Ivy Tech in 1989 with her nursing degree and practiced nursing for many years. Michele had a compassionate heart and was a very caring and gifted nurse. She was a spontaneous person, always ready for an adventure. Michele could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, playing board games, her beloved dachshunds, Julie and Nate Bracey, and spending time with her nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Nicholson; siblings Patrick McCarthy (Karen), Barbara Beinke (David), and Carol Morris (Philip); and several nieces and nephews,
