Michael Scott Wathen

Michael Scott Wathen, 56, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 in Owensboro. He was born October 3, 1960 in California. Mike had been a carpet installer for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, watching television, and also had raced stock cars. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Nell Wathen in 2003 and a brother, Edward Earl Wathen in 2005.

Surviving are his father and stepmother, William E. and Sheila Wathen of Owensboro, a sister, Sara Kay Royal of Owensboro, a brother, William Leon Wathen of Bremen, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
