Michael Ray Sevy

Michael Ray Sevy of Owensboro, 56, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, at his home. He was born in Paola, Kansas on July 12, 1958 and graduated from Apollo High School.

He was employed by Hausner Hard Chrome for 26 years. Mike attended Bellevue Baptist and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, UK Basketball, and his greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Henry and Velma Sevy, Herbert Ward and Theresa Reed.

Mike is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jeanna Sevy of Owensboro; a daughter, Micah Sevy of Lexington; a daughter, Taylor Sevy of Owensboro; parents, John and Pearl Sevy of Owensboro; brother, Danny Sevy (Gayle) of Midway, KY; mother-in-law, Shirley Allen of Owensboro; father-in-law, Doug Millikan (Colleen) of Princeton, KY; two nephews; and one niece.

The funeral service will be at 10 Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-8 PM and on Friday after 9 AM.
