Michael Lynn Richards

Michael Lynn Richards, 63, of Owensboro died on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Owensboro to Glen and Anne Richards.

Michael was a graduate of Owensboro Senior High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He retired from Kroger after 42 years of service. Michael was a Methodist. He was an avid walker and especially enjoyed old cars, travel and spending time with family.

Michael was preceded in death by his father in 1991.

He is survived by his mother, Anne Richards; sisters, Cheri Kazlauskas (Dan) of Owensboro and Patty Richards of Tennessee; a brother, Terry L Richards (Cynthia) of Christiana, Tennessee; niece and nephews, Sherree Beckwith (Brett), Chris Kazlauskas (Amy) and Jeramy Kazlauskas (Laura); several great nieces and nephews; an uncle, Harrol Richards of Whitesville; and an aunt, Elizabeth Nowlin of Tampa, Florida.

The funeral service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, October 5 at Christ Chapel in Owensboro Memorial Gardens where he will be buried. Visitation at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory will be from 10 until 10:30 AM Saturday.
