Michael T. Payne

Michael T. Payne, 55, of 6441 Hwy.762, Philpot, KY died Friday, September 17, 2004 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born July 19, 1949 in Owensboro, KY the son of James R. & Mary Ruth Payne. He was a partner of the 8 Ball Restaurant and a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, NASCAR and bar-b-ques. He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Payne.

Survivors include two daughters, Beth and her husband David Tinnell, and Jamie Payne all of Owensboro; his mother, Mary Ruth Payne of Owensboro; three brothers, Ron Payne, David Payne & Patrick Payne all of Owensboro; three sisters, Sheila Moberg of Gallatin, Tn., Paula Payne of Lexington, & Bonnie Bivens of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Courtney Payne, and Jacob and Hannah Tinnell, and 13 nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 20, at Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church with entombment following in the Rosehill Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday and after 9:00 A.M. Monday at the Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be at 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
