Michael Keith Nelson

Michael Keith Nelson, 59, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 at his home. He was born December 31, 1955 in Evansville, IN. Mike had been a carpenter in construction for a number of years. He loved woodworking, spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed working on various things fixing or repairing them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Geneva Bevil Nelson, and two brothers, Don and Larry Nelson.

Mike is survived by two sons, Matthew Blair and Josh Nelson and a daughter, Amanda "Amy" Nelson, all of Owensboro, seven grandchildren, Alexander, Logan, and Rorik Blair, Emily and Lilly Nelson, Mercedes and Paige Stallings, all of Owensboro, two sisters, Brenda Watson and Donna Clark, both of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 6:00 P.M. Thursday, April 2, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will begin at 4:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
