Michael Ray Gabbert

Michael Ray Gabbert, 45, of Owensboro, died at home in his sleep on November 12, 2005. He was born November 24, 1959 in Daviess Co. Kentucky. He was of the Baptist faith, a 1977 graduate of Apollo High School, and he enjoyed watching Nascar races and taking care of his cats. His father, Shelby Ray Gabbert, preceded in him death in 1991.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Marilyn and Clyde Williams of Owensboro, his sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Darrell Wathen of Utica, his daughter, Ashley Nicole Gabbert of Owensboro, his grandmother, Laura Martin of Philpot, his niece, Jennifer Wathen of Utica, his nephews, Christopher and Mark Wathen of Utica, and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be at 10:00a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Timo Karvonen officiating. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2005 from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:00 until time of service.
