Michael Evan Clark, 48, of Owensboro, KY, passed away November 13, 2017, at his home. He was born January 12, 1969 to the late William S. Clark Jr., and Anna Lee Thompson Clark in Owensboro. Michael was a journeyman and wireman for I.B.E.W. Local Union #357 for twenty years, after serving an apprenticeship there. He enjoyed golfing, Halloween, laughing, pulling pranks, and BBQ. Michael also loved a good thunderstorm or deep snowfall. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Michael was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David Tromly, Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters; Rhonda (Steve) Klee and Karen Tromly, all of Owensboro; brothers, Sid (Stef) Clark of Summerfield, FL, Tim (Mixi) Clark, of Madison, AL, John Clark, of Owensboro, Kenneth (Julita) Clark, of Las Vegas, NV, and Greg Clark, of Owensboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be 10am Saturday, November 18, at St. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be 3pm to 7pm Friday with prayers beginning at 7 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, and 8:30 to 9:30 Saturday morning at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may take the form of donations to the St. Joseph and Paul Haiti mission, or the Owensboro Humane Society.
