Michael H. Carrico, 67, of Cincinnati passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at his home. Mr. Carrico was born May 18, 1949 in Owensboro to the late Henry and Mary Boteler Carrico. Michael graduated with a degree in Accounting from Brescia University in 1975 and was employed as an accountant at Ethicon in Cincinnati after working for Canteen in Owensboro and Kimball in Jasper. He served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1971 and received an honorable discharge as Sergeant. He loved watching the History Channel, was very musically talented and played by ear. Michael was the type of person that you always knew where you stood with him.
Survivors include his ten brothers and sisters, Ruth Ann Carrico, Stephen Carrico and wife Anna, Kathleen Leonard and husband Roy, Marilyn Aldridge and husband Wayne, Thomas Carrico and wife Terri all of Owensboro, Rose Wieder and husband Jim of Philpot, Timothy Carrico and wife Mary Beth of Carencro, Louisiana, Gerry Jarboe and husband Larry of Masonville, John Carrico and wife Kelly of St. Wendel, Indiana, James Carrico of Lewisport; good friend Bill; numerous nieces and nephews.
The service will be at 6:00 PM Tuesday, September 20 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with military honors. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
