Michael Preston Ambrose

Michael Preston Ambrose, 52 of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2005. He was born in Daviess Co, Ky. and was a self-employed accountant.He was a member of the Yellow Banks chapter of the Fraternal Order of Eagles where he held the office of Aerie Secretary for 10 years, and also was a member of the AmVets Post #75. He was preceded in death by his father, Stirman Ambrose in 1975.

Surviving is his wife, Janice Stuart Ambrose, his mother, Marie Nunnally of Owensboro, his son, Ryan Ambrose of Bisbee, Az., two brothers, Patrick Ambrose of Owensboro, and Byron Ambrose of Nicholasville, Ky., and a sister, Laurie Lawless of Lexington, a stepdaughter, Michelle Westerfield of Owensboro, and a stepson, Ron Blair, Jr. of Rotterdam, Netherlands, and three step grandchildren.

Private services will be held. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
