Mernia Mae Roberts

Mernia Mae Roberts, 75, of 11194 Highway 662, Lewisport, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Ohio Co., Ky. to the late Ivy Lee & Alberta Snyder Payne. She was a homemaker and a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church. She had worked at Fields Packing Co and loved the outdoors, spending time with her family, and listening to music and singing. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Durwood Payne in April 1995.

Surviving is her husband of 58 years, Allie Roberts, Jr., three daughters, Linda Estes and husband Wayne and Karen Fireline, all of Lewisport, and Janet Heath and husband John of Calhoun, two sons, Wayne Roberts of Owensboro and Bobby Roberts and wife Diane of Windsor Locks, Ct., nine grandchildren, Cara Thomas, Kim Davis, Krysti Estes, Keith Fireline, Jeremy Roberts, Brad Roberts, and Erin, Daniel, and Scott Heath, 10 great grandchildren, two brothers, Rev. Ronald Payne and wife Pat of Henderson and Rev. Ellis Payne and wife Anita of White Plains, and a sister-in-law, Gloria Payne of Princeton, In.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 28, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
