Mercedes Sky Stallings

Mercedes Skye Stallings, 12, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at her home. She was born August 11, 2002 in Daviess Co., KY. She was a very loving child and loved her family and friends very much. She loved watching Disney movies, especially Frozen and The Little Mermaid, and her favorite rattle that she kept with her all the time. She also enjoyed listening to country music and her favorite group was Rascal Flatts. Mercedes was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Wendell Harrison, Joseph and Geneva Nelson, and Joseph Victor and Emma Kathleen Stallings, and grandparents, Laura Blair and Michael Nelson.

Surviving are her parents, Amanda Nelson of Owensboro and Jason W. Stallings of Owensboro, her sister, Paige "Princess" Stallings, at home, grandparents, Frank and Debbie Stallings of Owensboro, a great grandparent, Janet Harrison of Owensboro, a great aunt, Theresa Quisenberry of Owensboro, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be Noon Tuesday, April 7, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
