Melvin Douglas Hurt
June 19, 1939 — December 1, 2002
Melvin Hurt, 63, of 1408 East 4th St., Owenbsoro, died Sunday, December 1, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Posey County, Ind. native was an entrepeneur and member of the Good Shepherd Church and Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mille Hurt; two sons, Doug Hurt of Newburg, In and Steve Hurt of Owensboro; and his father, Paul Hurt of Evansville.
Funeral services are 10 A.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday and after 8:30 A.M. on Wednesday.
