Melvin Glover

Mr. Melvin Glover, Jr., 80, of 7323 KY Hwy 144, died, Saturday, May 26, 2001 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Middlesboro, KY native was a member of the Mt. Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was retired from the Yarden Center Nursery in Owensboro. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and collected Indian arrowheads. He was preceded in death by twin daughters Connie and Bonnie Glover.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Louise Gilmore Glover; one son, Danny Gene Glover of Owensboro; three grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret Jackson of Bonita Springs, FL, Artie Ray of Maceo, and Martha Boyle of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 10 A.M., Monday, May 28, 2001 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Firends may call the the funeral home from 2-6 P.M., Sunday, May 27 and after 8:30 A.M. on Monday, May 28.
