Melinda Altmeyer Midkiff

Melinda ''Mindy'' Altmeyer Midkiff, 52, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, February 07, 2014. Melinda was born in Huntingburg, IN, on March 8, 1961 to Marion and Esther Altmeyer. Mindy, as she was affectionately known, loved to cook, go to yard sales, and was always looking for a bargain. She was also fascinated by the paranormal and enjoyed reading books by her favorite author, Sylvia Browne. Most of all she loved her family and friends and the time she was able to spend with them.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Midkiff, and her mother, Esther Gable Altmeyer.

Survivors include her sons, Kyle Fehribach, of Evansville, Joshua Midkiff and Jeremy Midkiff, both of Owensboro, and a brother, Scott Altmeyer, of Huntingburg, IN.

Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2014, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
