Mechael Kay Lewis

Mechael Kay "Shelly" Lewis, 52, of Owensboro, was called home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born June 7, 1958 to Jerry and Mary Helen Whistle Lamb in Daviess County. Shelly was very artistic and enjoyed gospel and country music, and dancing. She liked to go shopping with her friend, Jimmy, and enjoyed being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lamb, and her step-father, Virgil Dennison.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Helen Dennison of Owensboro; her ex-husband, Buddy Lewis of Utica; her daughters, Mary Kay Hamilton and Misty Mechael (Joshua) Bidwell, all of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Dakota Hamilton, Tristan and Christian Lewis, Landon and Kayslee Michelle Stevens; her brothers and sisters, Rita (Carol) Wilson of Owensboro, Garry Lamb and his fianc, Sandy of Owensboro, Judy (Charlie) Lewis of Owensboro, Steve (Joyce) Lamb of Utica; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12:00 PM Friday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.
