Maxine C. Napper, 85, of Charles Scott Drive, Owensboro, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, in Hinsdale, IL. She was born August 10, 1922 to the late Luther and Polly Salings Coleman in Edmonson County. She was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church, enjoyed traveling, being with her family and living life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Napper in 1999, her daughter, Sandra Fox and her grandson, Bobby Ray Huff.
Survivors include her sons, Stan (Jackie) Napper, Stewart (Sue) Napper, all of Owensboro, Scott (Lynn) Napper of Cincinnati, OH, her daughter, Sue Ellen (Tom) Skahill of LaGrange, IL; nine grandchildren, Shari (Steve) Chase, Barry (Jill) Huff, Amy (Dan) Douglas, Rob Napper, Tom (Heather) Skahill, Bill Jones, Maegan Skahill, Drew Napper, Kelsey Napper; eleven great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Dwade Lentz of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, at Glenn Funeral Home with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday and after 10:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
