Maxine Mayfield

Maxine Huff Mayfield, 84, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born August 21, 1931 to the late Chester and Lou Ellen Clark Huff. Maxine was a homemaker of the Pentecostal faith who enjoyed gospel music.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Darlene Mayfield and Janis Feltman; sons, Terry and Larry Mayfield; sisters, Judith Williams and Betty Riley; and brothers, Jesse Huff and infant Bobby Huff.
Maxine is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Owen) Howard, Glenda (Kevin) Scott, and Kathy Burns, all of Owensboro; her sister, Brenda (Marvin) Ferguson of Owensboro; brothers, Jerry (Barbara) Huff of Owensboro and James (Dianne) Huff of North Carolina; and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 12 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 with visitation after 10 a.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the family of Maxine Mayfield.
