Maxine Richeson Hickey

Maxine Richeson Hickey, 87, of Pleasant Ridge passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born in Ohio County on June 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Myrtle Hudson Richeson; was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where she was a member of the Esther Sunday School Class; and was retired from Thomas Industries. Mrs. Hickey enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers, and watching NASCAR and UK basketball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frankie Dean Hickey in 2011; a son, Gary Wayne Hickey; a sister, Myrl Jeanette "Jack" Arnold Howard; and a brother, Robert Earl Richeson.

Surviving are children, Charlotte Hickey of Pleasant Ridge, Steve (Margaret) Hickey of Trinidad, CO, David (Tammy) Hickey of Pleasant Ridge, Jeff (Yuvonne) Hickey of Bells Run; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Michael Richeson of Owensboro.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Revs. Hank Ricketson and Carl Vanover officiating followed by burial in Bells Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday and after 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
