Maud Wilma Ambrose

Maud Wilma Ambrose, 83, of Philpot, died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at Leisure Years Nursing Home. She was born September 29, 1921 to the late Ivan and Edith Cook Riddle in Daviess County. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Ambrose, April 25, 1985 and an infant brother, Charles Riddle.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Jerry and Paula Ambrose, Nickey and Debra Ambrose, Gary and Jeannie Ambrose, all of Mt. Vernon, IN; one daughter and her husband, Kora Eileen and Terry Tanner of Philpot; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Thursday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday and after 9:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
