Mattie H. Jones

Mattie H. Martha Jones, 72, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2004, at her home. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Lester Z. and Mary E. Brown Higdon. She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Catholic Church and she enjoyed camping & fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Jones on April 10, 2003, and her son, Charles R. Jones in Nov., 2000.

Surviving is two sons and their wives, Robert Brent & Donna Jones of Owensboro, and David A. & Cathy Jones of Owensboro, two sisters, Margie Herman of Ft. Wayne, In. and Jane Mitchell of Louisville, and a brother, Albert Higdon of Cincinnati, Oh., four grandchildren, Clint & Ashley Jones, Jennifer Wynne, and Janeen Leonard, and a great grandchild, Keegan Leonard.

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 6, at the Christ Chapel in Owensboro Memorial Gardens, where ennichment will follow after the service.
