Matthew Todd Whitehouse

Matthew Todd Whitehouse, 44, passed away suddenly from an aneurysm, March 26, 2016. Born in Belvidere, IL, May 11, 1971 to the late Charles T. Whitehouse and Mary Lou DeBruler, Matthew enjoyed woodworking, painting, fishing and working in the yard. His love for music showed through his talent playing the guitar, singing and dancing. With Matthew, there was never a dull moment and he loved life. Matthew was faithful to God and attended Owensboro Christian Church. He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Alex and Mary Pence; step-father, Wayman DeBruler; bro-in-law, Maverick Daugherty.

He is survived by the love of his life, Laura Ryder; daughter, Elizabeth Whitehouse; mother, Mary Lou DeBruler; brothers Charles Scott Whitehouse and Lil' Scottie Whitehouse; sisters, Pamela Lou Daugherty, Amy Whitehouse; half-sister, Mika Hesher; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be 2-7:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 12:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of service. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the family of Matthew Whitehouse c/o Laura Ryder.
