Matthew T. Lawrence

Matthew T. Lawrence, 35, of Owensboro, passed away November 15, 2018. He was born January 20, 1983 in Owensboro to Randy Lawrence and Karen Ross Danhauer. Matthew graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School in 2002 and was employed by Toyota Manufacturing in Princeton. He was always interested in the next best thing when it came to electronics and gadgets. He also enjoyed cars, and photography. Matt loved spending time with friends and family, but most of all with his children. Matthew is preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnnie Lawrence and John E. Krahwinkel.

He is survived by two children, Chloe and Nolan; mother, Karen Danhauer (David) and father, Randy Lawrence (Ann); siblings, Nicholas Lawrence (Karyn), Alex Danhauer, Julie Best (Daniel), Elizabeth Hedgspeth (Ben), Laura Linn (Scott), MaKayla Rottet and Morgan Rottet; grandparents, Dorothy Lawrence Krahwinkel, Ken and Linda Ross, and William and Jean Danhauer: seven nieces and nephews along with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Funeral Mass will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Carl McCarthy officiating. Burial will be private. The visitation will be 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prayers will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Matthew Lawrence Memorial Fund, for the care and support of his children. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
