Mary Agnes Young

Mary Agnes Young, 85, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at her home. She was born December 29, 1921 to the late William J. and Mabel Perkins Young in Daviess County. She worked for General Electric for 37 years and enjoyed riding her bike, working in her yard and watching golf.

Survivors include her daughter, Paula McIntyre and her husband, Sam of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Eric Mullican, Valerie Holtzman and Stephanie Hathaway; five great-grandchildren, Ryan and Hilary Holtzman, Kyle and Bret Mullican and Charissa Robinson; one great-great-grandchild, Hendrix Holtzman.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Immaculate Catholic Church with burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be 8:30 until 10:30 AM Friday at Glenn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, 723 Harvard Drive, Owensboro, KY 42301.
