Mary Carolyn Wilkins

Mary Carolyn Wilkins, 61, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on September 1, 1949 in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Harlan Jay and Mary Helen Fenwick Trogden. She had worked at Whitehall Furniture Co. for about 35 years. Carolyn loved her grandchildren very much and she also enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and cross-stitching. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Dawn Wilkins, two brothers, Paul Ray Trogden and Joseph Trogden, and two sisters, Mary Jackson and Martha Cook.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, William L. Wilkins, a son, William L. Wilkins, Jr. and wife Sherry of Owensboro, three grandchildren, Megan, Hannah, and Will Wilkins, two brothers, James Trogden and wife Sarah of Yelvington and Donnie Trogden of Michigan, and a sister, Linda Crafton and husband Leon of Michigan, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12 Noon Thursday February 10 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
