Mary E. Wedding, 96, of Heartland Villa, died there Wednesday, October 31, 2001. She was born May 28, 1905 the daughter of George and Mary Cooper. Her husband, Lawrence Wedding died December 3, 1968.
She was a teacher in the Catholic Schools for 32 years. She was a member of St. Pius Tenth Catholic Church and the Third Order of Dominican Order.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Hamilton of Owensboro; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph F. Cooper of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2001 at St. Pius Tenth Catholic Church, officiated by Father Richard Meredith. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home after 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
