Mary Ann Taylor

Mary Ann Jackson Taylor, 60, of Pleasant Ridge, died Monday, November 12, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Thruston, Ky. to the late William Clarence and Georgetta ( Horton ) Jackson.

She was of the Baptist Faith, a lifelong homemaker, and former secretary for the Pleasant Ridge Volunteer Fire Department. She volunteered for the Ohio County and Pleasant Ridge Elementery Schools for several years, and Ohio County 4-H clubs.

Her husband, Phillip Grant Taylor preceded her in death in 2003.

She was the beloved mother of Donna Stewart (and husband Charles ) and beloved grandmother to Morgan Stewart. She is also survived by sisters, Linda Sutherland of Pleasant Ridge, and Rosalie Roach of Owensboro, and a brother Marvin Burden of Pleasant Ridge.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial following in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
