Mary Henry Shepherd

Mary Shepherd, 88, of 2920 Yale Place, Owensboro, died Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 14, 1919 to the late Wine Gullion and Anna Marsha Fleming Henry in Carroll County. She was a member of Settle Memorial Methodist Church, a member of the Eastern Star and worked at Interstate Store for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Stanley Shepherd on March 1, 1983.

Survivors include her son, Ron Shepherd and his wife, Ava of Owensboro, her daughter, Dorothy Adcox of Garfield, KY; two granddaughters, Rhonda Marlowe and Leigh Ann Shepherd; a great-granddaughter, Maleah Shepherd; nieces and nephews, Connie Gilles (Bobby), Sheila Foster Bradley, Alisa Carmen (Doug), Tony Adcox (Nina).

Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Popular Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
