Mary Lee Rearden Shaver

Mary Lee Rearden Shaver, 82, of Owensboro, left to join her heavenly family on Friday, January 21, 2004, at Leisure Years Nursing Home. She was born at West Point in Hancock Co., Ky. on Nov. 4, 1922 to the late Otis & Dora Lee Newton Rearden. and was a homemaker. She was a member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church and had been attending the Vineyard Baptist Fellowship Church. She enjoyed camping and was a past member of the Owensboro Hillbillies Camping Club. She enjoyed making time to play with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Robert C. R. C. Shaver on Nov. 25, 1981.

She is survived by four children and their spouses, Regina & Butch Mason, Charles & Pam Shaver, Sandy & Allen Barrow, and Steve & Debbie Shaver, all of Owensboro, 11 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren, and a brother, Pascal Rearden, and a sister, Geneva Stofer, both of Owensboro.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 24, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
