Mary M. Shadrick

Mary M. "Maggie" Shadrick, 77, of Owensboro, died Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Owensboro Center. She was born in Paducah, Kentucky to the late Wesley and Maudie Howard Darnell.
Maggie was employed through the Opportunity Center. She retired after more than twenty years of service as a janitorial supervisor at the Federal Building. She was a sweet, loving, generous and dedicated mother and friend who enjoyed ceramics and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Maggie was preceded in death by a son, Ernest J. Shadrick in May 2015 and a sister, Kathalean Hall.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Iler (Ron) of Robards and Diana Avery of Evansville, IN; a granddaughter, Stephanie DeMoss; great-granddaughter, Lillian DeMoss, both of Henderson; a sister, Frances Dismore; and a brother, Presley V. Darnell, both of Paducah.
Services will be private.
