Mary Martha Schuler

Sister Mary Martha Schuler, 71, of 405 W. Parrish Ave., Owensboro, passed away Friday, September 2, 2005, at the University of Louisville Health Services. She was born in Cincinnati, Oh. to the late Joseph & Alleen Samms Schuler. She has been a missionary for 53 years as a Glenmary Sister having begun in 1952. She served the home missions in Texas, Ohio, Kentucky, and Georgia. She was a Hospice volunteer and enjoyed writing to prisoners.

She is survived by a step sister-in-law, Rita Greivenkamp of Cincinnati, and her Glenmary Sister Community.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday September 5, at St. Stephen Cathedral. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home with a wake service at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
