Mary Alice Ward Sandefur
February 24, 1915 — January 9, 2002
Mary Alice Ward Sandefur, 86, of Owensboro, died, Wednesday, January 9, 2002 at the Hillcrest Health Care Center. The Ohio County native was retired from General Electric and a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church where she was a long time member and past president of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Argyle Sandefur in 1968.
Survivors include a sister, Loray Ward Givens of Beaver Dam; a niece, Nancy Patton of Tullahoma, TN; two nephews, David Gayle Givens of Beaver Dam and James Ward Kelly of Jeffersonville, IN.
Funeral services are 2 P.M. Saturday, January 12, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 A.M. on Saturday.
