Mary "Charlene" Roby

Mary "Charlene" Roby, 51, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016. She was born in Owensboro to Charles "Buddy" Roby and the late Carolyn Hagan. Charlene loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She was outgoing, bubbly, really enjoyed fishing, outdoors and camping. Everyone knew she was an excellent cook.

Charlene was preceded in death by her partner, Leslie Nunn in 2012 and son, Bryson Roby Nunn; daughter, Camryn Roby Nunn; step-mother, Linda Roby and step-father, Bob Haycraft.

Survivors include her daughters, Shawna and Beka McKay and son, Cole McKay all of Hawesville; father, Charles "Buddy" Roby (Mary Jane); sisters, Debbie Evans (Roger), Dawn Terry (Kenny); brothers, Charles Roby (Valerie), Steve Dennison (Jennifer), Scott Roby (Lisa); grandchildren Kayson and Aubryona; father of her children, Shawn McKay; many nieces and nephews.

The service will be at 12:00 PM Saturday, August 20 at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Pat Bittel officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 with prayers at 7:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 till 11:30 AM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
