Mary Robinson

Mary L. Robinson, 77, went to meet the Lord and Elvis on August 29, 2016. Mary was a devoted wife and mother and exceptionally aggressive Aggravation player. When she wasn't cheering for her Boys in Blue, Mary was known to play a highly suspect game of Hand and Foot.

Mary will be deeply missed by her husband of 58 years, William "Bud" Robinson and her children, Doug (Rebecca) Robinson of Madisonville; Mindy (Randall) Blan, Scott (Sherri) Robinson, Randy (Shelli) Robinson, and Kandace (Tony) Sturgeon, all of Owensboro and all of whom she instilled a healthy fear of Jesus and yard sticks. The light of her life are her beautiful grandchildren, Nikole (Kris) Robinson Carroll of Las Vegas, Kyle Robinson of Bowling Green, Christopher (Aimee) Robinson of Hinesville, GA; and Ty (Brandy) Blan, Parker Blan and Oakley Sturgeon of Owensboro. Mary is also survived by her gorgeous great granddaughter, Maddie, of Hinesville, GA and two brothers, Sylvester "Buddy" (Bertha) Fulkerson and George Fulkerson, both of Owensboro.


Services will be held 10 am Friday September 2, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 pm until 8 pm Thursday and after 9 am Friday at the funeral home. A committal service will be held at Rosehill Cemetery following the service.
