Mary M. Roberts

Mary Roberts, 73, of 2039 Arlington Park Blvd., passed away on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at her home. She was born October 3, 1935 in Muhlenberg Co. to the late Coil Albert and Nannie Elizabeth Stewart Plyler. She had worked at the Hon Co. in Chicago and the General Electric Co. and York International both in Madisonville. Mary was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She loved serving her church and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed making quilts.

She is survived by two daughters, Penny Lambert and husband Terry of Hartford, KY and Debbie Barnes and husband David of Franklin, TN, a son, Rickey Wayne Roberts of Owensboro, six grandchildren, Missy Baggett of Berea, KY, Sara Jarvis, Dillon Roberts, and Skyler Roberts, all of Owensboro, Zachary Roberts and Bailey Roberts, both of Central City, four great grandchildren, a sister, Margie Kirtley of Central City, and a brother, J. D. Plyler of Remlap, AL.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday, June 21 at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
