Mary Lee Hoheimer Roberts

Mary H. Roberts, 81, of 1512 Ford Avenue, Owensboro, died Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Elizabeth Hoheimer; worked many years as a secretary at Medley Distillery and later retired from the Opportunity Center. Prior to her illness, Mary enjoyed nature, feeding the birds, cooking, crocheting, reading, and her dog, Cody.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Paul H. Roberts; daughters, Barbara Clements Kirkman and her husband William of Owensboro and her five children and 21 grandchildren, Brenda Jones and her husband Jody and her children Chris Turnham and his wife Kelly and their children Katherine and Ashley, and Emily Turnham and her children Sarah, Mary, Samuel, and Nicholas all of Owensboro, and Linda Kegley and her husband Jim of Sebring Fl and their children Adam Kegley of Lexington, Allison Kegley of Watertown MA and Aaron Kegley of Deerfield Beach, FL; two sisters, Catherine Spinks of Friendly Village and Beulah McClain of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews including two special nieces Wanda Louise Baker and Betty Ann Baker.

Visitation will be from 2-5 P.M. Sunday, September 24, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home. Services will be private followed by entombment in Resurrection Cemetery.
